Our Home in South China, Me.
The time has finally come, all the preparations have been made. Our shipping container loaded with everything in it we will need to build this new life is on it's way and we have been saying goodbye to the many that share in our excitement of this great adventure. We must admit that every goodbye we said and heard was heartfelt and we only hoped that more time was available on our part to get to those we missed. To those we missed, Our Warmest Alohas to you and hope one day to see you all again.

Jock Laselle Pittsfield, Me.
Jock amazingly accomplished this daring feat without incident
Matson Shipping Co. was able to drive under and Jock lowered the container one end at a time onto the chassis. A 90 min. job !! Thanks Jock

In looking at the photo of your home in South China, is that Akela I see resting on the lawn in front? I'd recognize those big brown eyes and nose anywhere!! She looks mighty comfortable!

Aloha soon to be neighbor...I just came across your lovely blog and had to say hello. We just bought a place on 5 & D Rd. We are both from Big I but living on Maui now. One day we'll move back. For now just the house is there. I love all your pictures. Aloha Nui Loa, Jules
